A CoatHook to Benefit
South Bay Rabbit Rescue
About This Fundraiser
This fundraiser benefits South Bay Rabbit Rescue (SBRR), a wonderful rescue group that works to improve the welfare of rabbits in California’s South Bay area.
SBRR humanely traps domestic rabbits who have been let loose to fend for themselves by people who believe they will rely on instinct and do just fine. But, in fact, domestic rabbits don’t do well on the loose and are greatly vulnerable to any number of dangers, especially predators and automobile traffic.
The group also helps people who can no longer care for their rabbits, for any number of reasons, to find permanent adoptive homes.
Rabbits who are in SBRR’s care get shelter and safety, high-quality food, medical care, and socialization with dogs, cats, and kids, to ensure their adoptability.
The rescue also guides people who are new to caring for rabbits, to ensure that the rabbits and their new families enjoy a smooth and happy transition into a forever home.
The organization formed in 2012 and has helped not only 2,675 rabbits, but also 36 guinea pigs, 8 hamsters, 12 rats, 9 chinchillas, and 1 duck find happy, healthy, safe places to live!
Please join us in thanking SBRR for their dedication to making the lives of so many innocent creatures safer and happier.
About This Product
The CoatHook gathers and removes shedding undercoat fur from cats, dogs, and rabbits without pulling or cutting the outer layers of fur, the way some pet combs do.
The CoatHook’s long tines reach through the outer layer of fur, and the small hooks at the ends of the tines gently but very effectively gather and remove downy shedding undercoat fur.
A series of graduated hooks along the top of the tines can be used to gently tease out tangled fur.
The CoatHook works really well on dogs that have coats that shed, such as Labs, Collies, Shepherds, and mixed breeds, as well as medium-long to long-haired cats.
